This motor does not increase Kw output, it increase torque per amp which gives the above described gains. Which are substantial! All without requiring a bigger battery or controller.  

In order to unlock the 30°C higher temperature Threshold, you must purchase the Mod Motor tune service separately. It is NOT required! The Hight Torque mod motor will still run with all the benefits above and stay cooler without this service. It is generally recommended for people who are racing competitively.
